Getting the most from your Fijian Village experience
A Fijian Village visit is more meaningful when guests arrive with an open mind and follow local etiquette. Your guide will explain when to remove hats, where photographs are appropriate and how to behave during any welcome or cultural presentation. Modest clothing is recommended for the village portion of the day, and a light wrap or sarong can be useful.
The Sabeto mud-pool portion is informal and enjoyable. Wear swimwear beneath comfortable clothing, bring a towel and protect valuables from water and mud. The natural pools can have uneven or slippery surfaces, so move carefully and use handrails where provided. Shower facilities and changing arrangements vary, and the guide will explain what is available on arrival.
